At Fountain Fuel, passenger cars, vans and trucks can refuel hydrogen and fast-charge

Companies and business drivers can use the Fountain Fuel fuel card make customized arrangements and count on a discount.
In current hydrogen-powered passenger cars, about 5 kilograms of hydrogen fits into the tank. Depending on driving habits, you can drive 500 – 600 kilometers with this. Refueling takes about 5 minutes.
A hydrogen truck’s tank will hold between 30 and 55 pounds of hydrogen. The range depends on model and usage. Refueling time is between 15 and 20 minutes – depending on the type and fill rate.


With our Fountain Fuel fuel card for businesses, you benefit from competitive pricing, flexibility and ongoing service. With our fuel card, of course, you fill up with hydrogen at all our locations on the same terms. Customized arrangements are possible for wholesale consumers and passholders.
For electric vehicle charging, we work with Allego and 50Five. The costs vary by supplier. You can see per station which charging facilities we offer. You can charge at our stations with charge card or debit card.

Currently, the average kilogram price of hydrogen in the Netherlands is around €21. At Fountain Fuel, you pay €18.95 (including VAT) per kilogram at the pump. If you make special price agreements as a company, the price is lower. We then facilitate custom arrangements.
An average passenger car holds 5 kilograms of hydrogen. Per kilogram you can drive about 100 km. An average hydrogen truck holds about 55 kilograms.
In the future, hydrogen refueling will become much cheaper. When production is scaled up worldwide, the price per kilogram will eventually drop and hydrogen refueling will become cheaper than fossil fuels.
